It has been my honor and privilege to be in the role of Executive Director since 2016. I started my journey working with the geriatric population in 2010. After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in 2014, I continued working in healthcare until starting my role with Milton Senior Living. I enjoy continuing my education and received my state of Wisconsin CBRF certification in Assisted Living Administration in 2019. I annually attend the WALA Conference and work closely with the Diamond Accreditation Program. On a daily basis, I manage the overall operations, upkeep and staff of Milton Senior Living to make sure all functions of the facility are consistent with our mission of providing quality care for all our residents. I am an Ambassador with the MACC and spend time representing Milton Senior Living within the Milton community. I am married and enjoy spending my free time with my husband and young daughter. I reside in Janesville.

Delegating Registered Nurse

I’ve been the RN at our Milton location since 2012. As the Delegating RN, I oversee the medication administration, educate the staff and delegate specific nursing tasks to the care staff who meet certain requirements. My nursing career started as a teenager when I worked as a nurses’ aide at the Fort Atkinson Hospital. After high school graduation, I received my LPN then after my 2 children were grown, I went back to school for RN degree (ADN) and later my BSN (2012). I completed the Parish Nurse training at Marquette University in 2000 and have volunteered my time serving the members of our church. I also currently work part time at Family Practice Clinic in Fort Atkinson as an RN Care Coordinator. I live in my home town of Fort Atkinson with my husband and enjoy our children and grandchildren’s visits. I enjoy gardening and growing flowers and vegetables to share with others. In August 2015 I completed the Master Gardener certification and volunteer my time in serving the community. I have had the privilege of traveling to Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, and Kenya to serve and use my training.

I started my career in healthcare in September of 2014 working various roles providing direct care services to residents and families after receiving my Associate’s Degree. Prior to my role as Wellness Coordinator, I managed the overall care-staffing for Milton Senior Living. In my role as Wellness Coordinator, I work under the Delegated RN to manage medication administration and resident cares of Milton Senior Living to ensure continuity of care. I also oversee the admission process to ensure every resident has a smooth transition into Milton Senior Living. I also, assist the Executive Director, as needed with various other duties. I love my job and the people I work with. I take pride in working for Milton Senior Living and enjoy putting a smile on the residents’ faces. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my son, Kayden, who is pretty famous around here!

I started my adventure with Milton Senior Living in 2002 and have enjoyed every moment as the Activity Director for over 13 years! I am constantly continuing my education annually by attending the WRAP conference to ensure I am up-to-date on all current activity trends. I am a certified Chair Chi instructor and always looking for new Chair Chi participants. I facilitate Resident Council meetings and manage the General Store with our current resident volunteers. I also work closely with the UW Whitewater student volunteers in the NHVP program. Daily, I plan and oversee all activities, facility events and activity staff. I can also be found facilitating many of the activities myself. My husband and I have been married for 37+ years. We have one son and 4 grandchildren who are the highlight of our lives. We love camping, geocaching and spending time with family.

Food Service Director

I have been the Food Service Director for Milton Senior Living since 2011 and enjoy all aspects of my job. On a daily basis, I have the pleasure of providing a variety of menu options to our residents while also managing food and supply orders, food preparation training, event planning and dietary staff management. I work closely with the Milton High School Work Opportunity Co-Op to provide first-time jobs to high school juniors and seniors. I spend a few days a week preparing the menu options and enjoy cooking for our residents. I have my certification in Food Safety and attend educational events presented by our vendor services, GFS. I love working with our residents, as I feel it makes a difference in their lives. My husband and I live in Milton, Wisconsin. We absolutely love spending time with our children and our grandchildren!

After seeing the attractive communities and meeting the Executive Directors at Beloit, Milton and Waterford Senior Living, there was no question about my desire to be a part of this team. I bring extensive experience with working in senior services and hope to be a great resource to family members and potential residents as they navigate the challenging decisions associated with aging. I am pleased to be a part of an organization that operates with strong ethics. Your Quality of Life Is Our Commitment is more than a phrase. It is the way that we live our mission. I have 3 “adult” children, 2 of who live at home. I have been married for 29 years, and found that being home with a Retired Fireman though enjoyable, was not something I was ready to do full time.
